Re: Opening Salvos
He grinned when she groaned, his wolfish smile at full force when she begged for him. He reached up, snapping the buttons (of her only remaining leather top!) as he yanked it open, then following suit on her shirt. He reached and squeezed bare breasts, capturing her nipples with a pinch, teasing with the vibrator across her belly.
"I know," he told her, his voice rough with heat. He unbuttoned himself, keeping her tangled in rent clothes and the half off pants, then bounced off the bed. He caught an ankle and dragged her to the end of the bed, turning her so her nipples scraped across the silk. He let her feet down when they hung off the side, baring her and moist sex to him. He stroked himself, then took the toy to her again, slowly sliding it back inside of her.
Then he was positioning himself, intending to let her have much of the sensation of two brothers while only Patrick was at the wheel. He pressed against her anus, driving himself and the toy deeper with cruel precision.

Re: Opening Salvos
She loved that grin, it sent a shiver through her that only added to what followed. She had a moment when she realized this was her last leather vest that he was popping the buttons off and she made protesting sounds that he completely ignored.
She twisted as he unbuttoned his pants, licking her lips. A hot sound when he pulled her to the edge of the bed. She bucked there, pressing against him, wanting him soooo much. She groaned and bucked as he pushed inside her, pain and pleasure overwhelming her. She held on as long as she could, but it wasn't long before she was crying out and arching up as her orgasm hit. She soured up on the strength of it, the power of the man still thrusting in and out of her, the pent up heat within him begging to explode outward and she brushed across the white lights in him, his sudden release powering her further as she bent herself outward, winging away from the ship towards the dark blot that was the Reaver fleet.
She did her best to move around that sucking void, slipping away and around, seeking the far side and a man she found easy to bring to mind. His perfect body and the warm, golden touch of his mind on hers. She focused on that, letting her instincts drive her forward.

Re: Opening Salvos
Patrick continued to savage her, thrusting like a jackhammer, even when his fire began to spill inside of her. He only paused for a moment, gasping and rehardening on the brush of her fingers over his white lights.
There were four bright things she could feel as she winged up and out of her body - the first was the nearby Reaver fleet, dark and focused, the rage she'd felt earlier burning nowhere near as hot. Second was a mirror of that sensation - far distant in the Rim, there was a second Reaver fleet.
Third, she could feel her mother, the strange entanglement of River and Amara, burning brighter than she ever did before.
Fourth, she could feel the mminds of two Reaver pilots, which had broken off from the fleet in pursuit of Sylvia. They were closing around the asteroid on a search pattern, headed right for the Sundiver.

Re: Opening Salvos
The first two she dismissed, her mother she marked for later, the last ... well, she had a moment of hope dashed into disappointment and then fear. They had no way to outrun Reavers in an asteroid field and no weapons to destroy them with. She felt a flash of worry and knew she couldn't stay out here too long. Caradoc was likely somewhere between the two fleets, or perhaps even with the other one, she didn't know, and she doubted her ability to break through his shielding to find out.
There wasn't time, not with Reavers bearing down on her, so she did the one thing she could. She reached out for her mother's mind, recognizing the transporting element of pleasures, and gave her a data dump of everything Xi knew about the current situation. There wasn't time to be gentle about it, she simply left her information and ran back to her ship and her Patrick, aware of him again for a moment before a different notion took her.
Maybe she could control the Reavers. She turned away, using yet another orgasm to fling herself out into the void, this time focused on the nearest brightness, probing at the minds of those pilots, not at all sure whether there was enough there for her to grab hold of.

Re: Opening Salvos
The Reaver pilot's minds were still there, they were just focused with an intensity and fury that made them seem barely human. She could feel the burn of radiation on their skins, the pain where they'd deliberately flayed themselves. She could possess one, possibly, but it would be agony - and Xiantha had every impression she wouldn't be able to maintain the hold for very long.
Then again, it wouldn't take long in the midst of an asteroid field to send one hurtling into the other.

Re: Opening Salvos
Xi grit her metaphoric teeth. She wished for another way. Wracked her brains for a moment, but aside from playing dodgeball with asteroids in a much less maneuverable ship, she didn't see it. She should warn Patrick, she knew, but time was of the essence. It would take minutes for her to get back here and once they were spotted they could raise the whole fleet. Hopefully she could be in and out before much damage could be done on the other end.
So she took a deep breath and picked the mind that seemed the least focused - if that was possible - and flung herself at the firebrand of a mind, prepared as she could manage for the searing pain of their existence.

Re: Opening Salvos
It was a negligible difference between the two minds, but ultimately one had a slightly better angle on the other ship. The body was a strange combination of sensations - the raw rage that seemed to flood her like a drug, only mollified by exacerbating pain of screws and metal driven into the body, of burned skin and peeled back flesh. It was horrifying and agonizing, and the Reaver's will fought back with a malice. It made sense that simply passing through the field of them was impossibly dangerous - the rage and pain even a single emanated was like drowning.
Re: Opening Salvos
She struggled with the malificent will. She only needed a moment, a second, really, to change the direction of the ship and to hit the thruster. They weren't that far apart, it wouldn't take much, so she focused as much on making that one change as she did overtaking the Reaver's will. The pain and torment was extreme, agonizing. She had to hold herself away from it, to push beyond it and focus on what really mattered to her.
It was the only way she was going to survive this. She had no idea how someone as sensitive as Qun Shi had managed it, except to realize that he hadn't, not really. He'd been marked by his unintended creations as much as they had been by him.

Re: Opening Salvos
The other Reaver ship never saw the attack coming - the nose of the Reaver's craft plowed into the side, and the shrief of metal on metal, resounded through the ship as both ships began to plunge towards the asteroid at speeds that would turn both of them into scrap.
Re: Opening Salvos
The moment Xi felt the shuddering of the impact she released the body she'd been holding, back to her own body, never happier to leave a body behind.

Re: Opening Salvos
She came to with Patrick still over her - the incident was far enough away that the ship wouldn't be touched by the resulting explosion, on the other side of the asteroid they rode. Her lover still powered into her, the vibrator having been kicked up a half dozen steps inside of her.
"Rrrrrrrghaaaa," groaned Patrick, so close to release his entire body seemed aflicker with white lights.

Re: Opening Salvos
Xi looked up, relieved that the Reaver hadn't had long enough to accomplish much of anything. On the other hand, given that she was tied down and pinned by his weight, there likely wasn't much they could have done.
She arched up beneath him and cried out as release rocked her world, brushing her power across his lights to ensure he came with her.
She fell back and panted for a moment, then kissed him.
"I'm back," she told him. "And I need to get on the bridge." She wiggled her hips just a little, but clearly was at his mercy to release her.

Re: Opening Salvos
Patrick came with staggering intensity, gasping as he fell over atop her, his hips bucking autonomously while they continued to bend to the pleasure of her power. He finally gasped and pushing himself off, overloaded by even the press of her skin, grinning when she crawled over and stole a kiss.
"Welcome back," he grinned, then his face fell. "That was... quick," he frowned. "Was there - did you find him?" He forced himself up, still hungry for breath, then began to work at the scarves around her wrist. He gave up after a moment, sliding a knife from the buckle of his belt and cutting the silk with it.
"Alright," he nodded. "Need my help?"

Re: Opening Salvos
She gave him a faint smile, still sticky with the horror of the Reaver's mind and body.
"Thanks," she said, shaking her head. "No time," she said honestly. "There were Reavers coming after us. Followed Sylvia back. Had to take one over, collide with the other. Left me too jittery to do much more. I did tell Mom, but it was pretty brutal. I had to hit and run. I hope she's okay." She freed herself once the scarfs were cut, sitting up and rubbing her wrists.
She nodded at his words. "Always," she said softly, still rocked a bit. She reached towards him, pulling him close.
"Just .. hold me a minute. The immediate threat is gone. But we're going to have to be real careful. They know something is out here."

Re: Opening Salvos
Patrick nodded, listening and certain she wasn't quite her normal, lighthearted self. He could tell something had shaken her, and when she mentioned possessing a Reaver he swallowed. He winced at the mention of the hit and run, but seemed to trust that Amara was a tough bird, all told, and she'd handle it one way or another.
He smiled softly at her words, and wrapped his arms around her. "Of course," he said softly, pulling her onto his lap and squeezing her close. What normally might have allured, with the press of her heavy bosom against his chest, didn't even register - he knew her well enough to know when she was truly shaken.
There was a call over the PA - it didn't go into the yacht, but they could hear the echo through the open door.
"Lisa to Xiantha. Lisa to Xiantha, please come in."
There was the tiniest note of alarm in her voice. The ship gave a small lurch.

Re: Opening Salvos
She burrowed against Patrick for a moment, breathing in the warm scent of him and pushed away memories too raw and painful to deal with.
She heard the call, though, and was on her feet in the next moment. She shimmied into her leathers and grabbed a shirt, frowning at her last vest, giving up on it. "I gotta go. Come when you can?" She asked him, eyes soft, then she turned and ran for the bridge.

Re: Opening Salvos
Patrick held her, as long as he could - though it was only seconds before the unwelcome call came through.
Patrick nodded, hopping to his feet, blinking away a momentary distraction as she shimmied the leathers up her leg topless. "Yeah," he promised, pulling up his leathers. "I'll follow you up." He took just a moment, as she looked for a new shirt, and instead reached for the one she wore, tying off the corners cowgirl style into a halter top.
"Go," he said. "I'll be right up."
On the bridge, Lisa was directing Sylvia, who looked more than uncertain at the helm. She was positively chewing through her lip, then breathed a sigh of relief as Xiantha appeared.
"A reaver ship - " they said in unison, then Sylvia glanced to Lisa, and fell quiet.
"Two reavers plowed into the asteroid. I'm guessing following Sylvia. They crashed into one another, and now a bigger Reaver is peeled off from the fleet, heading this way. We unhooked the landing gear, and - UP! Sylvia, pull up!"
Sylvia responded in the nick of time, pulling the ship up before an upcoming ridge tore the underhull of the ship off.

Re: Opening Salvos
Xi smiled at his work, leaned to give him a short kiss and then headed off.
She arrived on the bridge, looking between the two women, nodding. "I know, I - crashed them. Hoped the main fleet wouldn't respond so quick, though." She tapped Sylvia on the shoulder and slid into the pilot seat, kicking the boosters and cutting them free of the asteroid. She didn't dare head right back into the open lane, her gaze darting to the telemetry and then back to the screen, picking out a path through them, doing her best to put as many rocks between Diver and the crashed Reavers as she could manage without crashing them into any of them.
"It's going to be a rough ride. Tell the girls to get in the galley and strap down."

Re: Opening Salvos
Sylvia blinked, then understood, sliding out of the seat while Lisa took a half second longer to process. "Oh - Oh! Cool!" Lisa laughed. She pointed to the telemetry, where a larger, boxier Reaver ship had broken off to follow. "Well, they did."
Lisa looked at the telemetry. "I plugged back in my telemetry when I realized I wasn't missing anything. I think it'll work. Let me fire it," she offered. Sylvia gave a nod at the instruction, heading silently towards the door.
"Aye-aye," she nodded, heading out and down.
The first few dives through the field were breathtakingly close - Lisa had picked a less then perfect time to free them from the asteroid, but they might well have been found if she hadn't acted immediately. The Reaver behind them definitely had their trial, but Lisa frowned.
"Doesn't look like anyone else is breaking off," she said. "But he's keeping pace."

Re: Opening Salvos
Xi flashed a smile and nodded as she took in the situation.
"Sure, fire away," she told Lisa, eeking out a path through the rocks. She growled softly when she realized the Reaver had their tail. "Damn it, he's spotted us." She nodded at Lisa, but focused on flying them through a path littered by asteroids, moving as close to them as she dared, trying to make them a lot harder to find.
"Let's see how good he is," she commented, fingers flying as she adjusted their path carefully.
She reached out and flipped the comm unit on down to engineering. "This is Xi on the bridge. Are we ready down there? We're going to need the boosters right away."

Re: Opening Salvos
Lisa nodded. She flipped it up, and appeared on Xiantha's monitors as discrete red swaths of angry color - it was a color palette, from reds down to cool violets, which suggested the potential future roughness of a path, an on screen 'degree of difficulty.' One glance told Xiantha that a red path was going to be positively suicidal - not a matter of degree of skill or manueverability, just genuinely deadly to any craft.
The reaver pilot wasn't as good - but he was flying a warship, designed to angle tightly and accelerate quickly. He didn't have problems keeping up with Xiantha's first round of maneuvers, designed to test the skill and will of their pursuit.
Ant grunted. "We can be in five," he promised. "Aren't we still in the middle of the field?"

Re: Opening Salvos
Xi looked over as the monitor changed and grinned. "That's perfect." She compared it to her other view and then switched over to following Lisa's. She accelerated some more, following the violet paths the display showed, making some sharp turns to move from one to the other.
"Situation changed," she told Ant, not able to spare the time to explain. "Get it up as soon as you can, just give me a bit of a warning so I'm expecting it."

Re: Opening Salvos
Lisa smiled in relief. "It's not perfect - but these colors reflect a curve of probability. Purple might not always be a cakewalk, but I don't expect red to be anything less than suicide."
"Firing it up," said Ant. "I'll get Edie on the line to tell you when it's a go."
The reaver pilot continued to dance after her, enjoying the chase. He was gaining slowly - a faster and more manueverable ship chasing a floating bath tub. Lisa was running her fingers just as rapidly.
"Crap. Xi, that thing has fighters. Or boarding shuttles."

Re: Opening Salvos
Xi nodded. "No such thing as a free lunch," she quoted, pushing her edges as she saw the Reaver catching up.
"Do that. Xi out," She spun the ship on its axis, rolling over to clear a large rock. "Damn it. He's good. And he's got a way better ship."
She was running out of options, but at least he was only gaining slowly. The farther she got him away from his fleet in the wrong direction the better.
"Great," she said. "Tell Patrick and Ant to get ready in case we're boarded."
She was going to have to come up with something fast. She put them in a fairly safe lane for a moment and then eyed the projection, looking for places where the blue and the red intersected or changed quickly from one to the other.

Re: Opening Salvos
Lisa chuckled. "Asteroids, though, come cheap."
She grew quiet after that, focusing as well. "I might have something," she offered. "They're running comms and anti-cyberwarfare suites, I might be able to get into their systems. I need time, though." She was already working at it, as Xiantha continued to burn on the speed. The Reaver matched her daring, though there was a small moment of victory after a dive through a donut shaped asteroid left the Sundiver untouched, and the Reaver following grating his vessel against the rock. It came on, still, afterward, losing shielding and little else.
Patrick had just appeared as she issued her order, and paused in the doorway. "I'll tell Ant,' he said, turning back towards the doorway at a run.
One of the first fighters launched at high speed out of the Reaver in pursuit - it was clearly launched on some sort of rail, and came out too hot, too fast, disintegrating on a sheer slice of asteroid. Lisa crowed, and regained her focus.
